Question about runes - Guild Wars Forums

I have a helmet with a major vigor in it why is it +41 health I thought it was +40 and also can i put a superior vigor over this one, is the superior +50 health or +51. Thanks for any help.

Your max health is 401 without runes. Vigors dont stack, so you'll lose the effect of the major if you use up your superior.
